Retired Thai ambassador

Dr. Warawit Kanithasen is a retired Thai ambassador who served as ambassador and diplomat in, inter alia, Egypt and Romania, and Germany respectively.
At Dynamic Minds, he serves as Senior Member of the Board of Advisors, while also serving as Senior Research Fellow of its sister organization, the German-Southeast Asian Center of Excellence for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPG) as well as Member of the Advisory Board of the Asian Governance Foundation.
Prior to his career in the foreign service, Dr. Warawit was a Lecturer for international law at the Faculty of Law at Thammasat University, Thailand. Upon his retirement from the diplomatic service, Dr. Warawit was an Advisor to Thailand’s Office of the Ombudsman and to the Supreme Administrative Court. He obtained his PhD. from the University of Bonn, Germany, with a thesis on international public law.
